MMC MD connector — compact breakaway, 20 contacts
• COMPACT • EMC REINFORCEMENT • LOW PROFILE
The MMC MD is a compact stainless steel breakaway connector with 20 contacts and mixed-gauge configuration, available with or without PCB integration. IP68 sealed and EMI/RFI shielded, it is designed as a custom-adaptable solution for equipment manufacturers requiring a tailored connector that fits their specific PCB and housing constraints.
Custom-fit breakaway connector for PCB and non-PCB configurations
The MMC MD addresses integration challenges where both the connector footprint and the PCB interface must be adapted to the equipment design. Its mixed-gauge contact layout — 2 contacts at AWG 22 and 18 contacts at AWG 28 — allows simultaneous power and signal transmission within a single compact connector body. Available in with-PCB and without-PCB variants, it supports flexible integration into custom rugged equipment.
