MMC SD

Safe data transmission on ruggedized equipment

MMC SD connector — miniature breakaway, 12 contacts, USB 3.0 Gen 1 compatible

• MINIATURE
• USB 3.0 GEN 1
• BREAKAWAY

The MMC SD is a miniature stainless steel breakaway connector with 12 contacts, compatible with USB 3.0 Gen 1 high-speed data transmission. IP68 sealed and EMI/RFI shielded, it is optimized for the smallest ruggedized equipment — wearable systems, compact radios, and portable field devices — where data throughput, robustness, and minimal footprint must coexist.

USB 3.0 Gen 1 data transmission in a miniature, field-ready connector

The MMC SD combines miniaturization with high-speed data capability: USB 3.0 Gen 1 performance in a breakaway circular connector that fits the tightest equipment panels. Its mixed-gauge contact layout — 2 contacts at AWG 22 for power and 10 at AWG 28 for signals — supports both power delivery and data transmission within a single connector. Available with or without PCB, it adapts to custom equipment designs.
